Yin Yin Huang, pianist /composer : born in Taiwan she made her concert debut at age of sixteen with the Formosa Chamber Orchestra. She graduated from Chinese Culture University, Taipei. After migrating to the United States, she received her master degree from CSULA,Piano performance. Received “Woman of Year” award in City of Alhambra, in 2009.
Performed as guest soloist with the Guatemala City Symphony Orchestra 2006 , Harmonium Trio in Beijing, China, 2011. Solo Rachmaninoff “ Paganini Theme & Variations” with La Mirada Symphony Orchestra, 2011. Beethoven Concerto #5 with LADSO.
During the pandemic of 2020 there was a turn in Ms. Huang’s music career and direction as she began to compose original and passionate music compositions. Her first composition for piano solo was titled ” Time to say good-bye birdies”. She orchestrated to ” Empty Nest fantasy”work for flute, violin, cello, piano and percussion has won many awards.
Winning the 2nd prize in four consecutive year in MTAC Composers Today since 2022.
Yin Yin’s “ Journey of Life” trio also won Composition Platinum Prize in 2024 ,Global Genius Music Competition and her Harmonium Trio , also won Gold Prize in Chamber Music category with violinist- Shelly Ren, cellist-Ling Yan on July, 2024.
Appeared at Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall with her own composition- White Egret theme on Silk road & Variations for piano as one of Laureate Artists and performed at 2-17-2025.
Recently, Yin Yin won 2026 Mozart International Music Competitions with two Silver awards as Chamber Ensemble with her Harmonium Polytimber ensemble and her own composition “ Enough is Enough” for high voice and piano.
Ms. Huang was a piano faculty of Tainan Theological College and CUSLA, now is currently the Artistic Director of Two Cranes International Music Festival and Acevedo Music and Art Education Foundation Inc ,she has maintained a private studio in Alhambra since 1982 as well as many of her students have entered prestigious conservatories. 6 of students have gone to achieved high levels of success in their musical journey and received Doctors degree in Piano performances and composition.
