Jeonghyun Lim is a Korean pianist and collaborative pianist. She graduated with honors from Dankook University and received a scholarship to study at Azusa Pacific University. She later earned her Graduate Certificate from the University of Southern California, where she studied under Professor Kevin Fitz-Gerald with a scholarship.
She has won several prestigious piano competitions and grants, including the Sejong Music Competition and the Korea Piano Duo Competition. She was a finalist at the Osaka International Competition in Japan. She won first prize at the Steinway Academy Rising Star Piano Competition and received the Grand Prize in the Adult Division. In 2023, she won first prize at the American Protégé International Music Talent Competition and was named one of the Judges’ Distinction Award Winners, further recognizing her exceptional musical talent.
In addition to her solo performances, Jeonghyun is an active chamber musician and frequently appears in piano duo and oboe duo recitals, earning high praise for her musicality. She has participated in the Montecito International Music Festival and performed in masterclasses for renowned pianists such as Jean-Yves Thibaudet, Daniel Shapiro, Peter Takács, and Kristin Merscher.
She made her Los Angeles debut in 2020 with the Los Angeles Virtuosi Orchestra. In 2024, she was invited as a collaborative pianist for the IAPMT New York Gala Concert at Carnegie Hall, establishing her reputation as a distinguished accompanist.
Since 2025, she has been appointed as an adjunct faculty member at Azusa Pacific University, continuing her career as both an educator and a pianist, actively contributing to the field of music.
She continues to expand her career with upcoming performances, further showcasing her artistry on the international stage.
