Bryan Soo is a Singaporean pianist, concert artist, pedagogue, and producer whose playing has been praised for its emotional depth, refined sensitivity, and magnetic expressivity. Prof. Grzegorz Niemczuk describes him as “a talented young pianist whose music flows from a deeply sensitive soul,” while Régulo Martínez-Antón highlights his “passion and emotional sincerity,” and Dr. John Sharpley notes his “distinctly beautiful and exquisitely nuanced sound.”

Bryan’s international performances span Asia, Europe, and the United States, with appearances at venues such as Sala Sudasiri Sobha Steinway Hall (Bangkok), Prugio Art Hall (Seoul), Karura Hall (Tokyo), the UdK Konzertsaal (Berlin), and the Concert Hall at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory (Singapore). He has performed in front of large audiences at the National Museum of Singapore, Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre, and YST Concert Hall.

In 2025, Bryan made his concerto debut in Berlin performing Mozart’s Piano Concerto No. 24 in C minor with the Camerata Fiestravaganza in the prestigious UdK Konzertsaal. He also performed the chamber version of the concerto in Tokyo’s Karura Hall. His 2024 United States debut in California featured Chopin’s Ballade No. 4, Poulenc’s Improvisations, and his own fully improvised work titled Free Improvisation.

Beyond performing, Bryan is active as a producer and artistic curator. He produced a production of Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 with pianist Noah Zhou — first British-born laureate of the International Rachmaninoff Piano Competition — selling over 400 tickets and leading artistic direction, programming, and project development. His production work reflects a commitment to shaping meaningful, story-driven musical experiences.

Bryan began piano at the age of 15, progressing rapidly through the graded system within three years. He has studied under Mr Matthew Mak and Mr Clarence Lee, and participated in masterclasses with prominent artists including Prof. Jacques Rouvier, Prof. Lucas Blondeel, Prof. Christian Pohl, Dr. Aleksander Szram, Dr. Yejin Noh, Prof. Grzegorz Niemczuk, Mr Chun-Chieh Yen, Dr. Rixiang Huang, Mr Congyu Wang, and others.

A dedicated educator with over eight years of experience, Bryan maintains an international teaching profile, conducting masterclasses and workshops across Asia, Europe, and the United States. His students range from young beginners to competition-ready performers.

Bryan completed his BA (Hons) in Music at LASALLE College of the Arts, where he was awarded the Distinguished Performers Award. He was a finalist at the 6th Piano Island Competition and a two-time recipient of the Star Award at the Overseas Performers Festival (2022, 2023). He has earned scholarships to the Montecito International Music Festival and the Piano Island Festival, and has won awards at the Le Petit Performers’ Festival, Asia Arts Festival, and International Brilliant Talent Discovery Awards.

He is the founder and artistic director of BespokeArts, an independent curatorial platform dedicated to developing thoughtfully programmed performances, collaborations, and artist-led projects. Through BespokeArts, Bryan shapes concert experiences that foreground sound, context, and artistic intent, presenting both emerging and internationally acclaimed artists. He is also an official ambassador for SÖT Coffee, integrating his passion for music and specialty coffee.
