Nadine Satamian, classical pianist, first began taking piano lessons at the age of 5 in her hometown of Pasadena, California. She continued her studies under Manami Kawamura from 2018 to 2021 at Pasadena City College where she received her Associate’s in Arts Degree in Music. In 2020, she received the Music Teachers Association Award for Unusual Promise in the Field of Piano Performance, and was the 2nd Prize Winner for the Fritzie Culick Piano Award.
In 2023, Nadine graduated from Azusa Pacific University with her Bachelor’s of Music, studying under Joel Clifft and is currently studying under Andrew Park. As a recipient of two scholarships, she gave her first solo piano recital at Munson Chapel. During her time at Azusa Pacific University, Nadine sang and performed as a soprano in the University Choir, as singing is one of her greatest passions. She has led the group piano classes at the Azusa Conservatory and stands as an accompanist for vocalists and instrumentalists. She has performed in masterclasses with Gergely Kovacs, Daniel Paul Horn, Susan Boettger, Luigi Borzillo, and Luca Monti.
In 2024, Nadine was invited to tour Europe, where she performed solo works in Romania and Austria, in The Great Hall in Târgu Mureșand Haydn Hall in Vienna.
In honor of her outstanding talent and achievement, Nadine was selected to perform at the prestigious Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in the Autumn of 2024. Her dedication, artistry, and exceptional skill has earned her the opportunity to share her performance on one of the world’s most iconic stages.
Alongside her private teaching, Nadine is a music teacher in Arcadia and San Gabriel, California. She is currently receiving her Master’s Degree in Piano Performance from Azusa Pacific University and looks forward to growing her musical knowledge so she can bless others through music.
