Dear Young Musicians, Parents, and Teachers, We are delighted to invite you to the OpusOne International Music Festival, where students of all ages and levels can experience meaningful artistic growth and transformation. With world-class faculty, diverse performance opportunities, and innovative programming, OpusOne provides an inspiring platform for musicians to learn, connect, and fully realize their artistic potential. OpusOne Concerto Competition 2026

The OpusOne Concerto Competition provides outstanding young musicians the opportunity to perform a concerto movement with the OpusOne Festival String Orchestra in the Festival’s Winners’ Concert at Azusa Pacific University. Competition Schedule Preliminary Round Video Submission Deadline: June 30, 2026 Applicants must submit a video recording of one movement from an approved concerto or vocal repertoire. Final Round Date: July 15, 2026 Format: Live Final Round (In-Person) Location: Munson Chapel, Azusa Pacific University Approximately 8–10 finalists will be invited from the preliminary round to compete in the live final. Winners’ Concert Date: Friday, July 23, 2026 Venue: Munson Chapel, Azusa Pacific University Selected winners will perform their concerto movement with the OpusOne Festival String Orchestra as part of the official Festival Gala Concert. Eligibility      •   Applicants must be registered participants of the OpusOne International Music Festival 2026.      •   Open to the following instruments:           •   Piano           •   Violin           •   Viola           •   Cello           •   Double Bass           •   Voice Competition Guidelines Repertoire Contestants must perform ONE movement from the listed concerto repertoire (for instrumentalists) or ONE selection from the suggested vocal repertoire.
