DIRECTOR OF RELATIONSHIPS

A renowned music professional in the Los Angeles community, Professor Daniel Yoon Jae Park is a graduate of University of Southern California (USC, 1997-2004 ). He gained public recognition with his debut as soloist with GunSan City Philharmonic Orchestra in 2002. He also concertmaster of the L.A. Korean Chamber Orchestra and the L.A. National Orchestra.

 

His professionalism and leadership qualities were broadcast nationwide on various Korean TV channels including theKorean Broadcasting System (KBS), Christian Broadcasting System (CBS), Educational Broadcasting System (EBS), aswell as on radio programs in Los Angeles.

 

Currently, Mr. Park serves as a Music Faculty member and Artist in Resident at Fullerton College in North Orange County, California. His teaching career that began at USC Thornton School of Music led him to a Master Class in 2007. As a dedicated and highly skilled professional coupled with extensive teaching experience, Prof. Park hasserved as a judge for various music competitions including SYMF, SATORY, Music Teachers National Association,U.S. Piano and String Competition of Hymn and Orange County Korean Cultural Center Music Competition.

 

His outstanding performance continued to be highly recognized at various venues including Walt Disney ConcertHall, La Mirada Theatre, Zipper Hall, Pasadena Pacific Civic Auditorium, Scottish Auditorium, Ebell Theatre in L.A.,ldylwild Arts Concert Hall, UCLA Concert Hall, USC Concert Hall, President Nixon Library, Muckenthaler Art Center, as well as in S. Korea. His many concerto appearances at Euro-Asian Phiharmonic Orchestra and L.A. Korean Orchestra in the U.S, and Gun-San City Philharmonic Orchestra and JB Orchestra in S. Korea have invited the praises of many. In 2018 he was invited to perform with ‘Orquestra Sinfornica del Chaco’ in Argentine,and later with Los Angeles Sinfonietta at Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles.

 

As the leader of “Park Trio,” a distinguished ensemble founded in 1997 alongside two fellow USC graduates-his cellist wife, Crystal, and his pianist brother, Andrew-Professor Park has led the group to be recognized as an extraordinary ensemble uniquely blending inspiration, warmth, beauty, and humor. The Park Trio has been active both nationally and internationally, with performances sponsored by two major Korean-language newspapers in Los Angeles, theMusic Teachers’ Association, and prominent Korean businesses such as Hyundai and POSCO, as well as by major city governments in South Korea. Their CD, Priere, featuring a variety of Christian music, has deeply touched thehearts of the Christian community in the Los Angeles and Orange County areas.

 

He was honored with the U.S President’s Award by Barack Obama (2014) and by Joe Biden (2024).
