Pianist YunJeong Yang is a distinguished performer and educator known for her profound musicality, nuanced interpretations, and dedication to fostering the next generation of musicians. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree from the College of Arts at Jeonbuk National University, followed by a Master of Music degree from the Graduate School of Music at Jeonju University. She later completed a second Master’s degree in Piano Performance at the renowned Saint Petersburg State Conservatory in Russia, where she deepened her artistic voice and developed a refined international perspective on music.

As a soloist, she has appeared with leading orchestras including the Jeonla Symphony Orchestra, Cheongju Philharmonic Orchestra, Gunsan Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Baroque Ensemble, receiving acclaim for her expressive and virtuosic performances. She has also presented numerous solo recitals and ensemble concerts, actively contributing to Korea’s chamber music scene.

In addition to her vibrant performance career, Ms. Yang is a passionate and dedicated educator. She has taught at institutions such as Jeonbuk National University, Jeonbuk Christian Conservatory, Hanil University & Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Yaein High School of the Arts, and Jeonju Arts High School. She is currently on the piano faculty at Gunsan National University, where she continues to mentor and inspire her students with great devotion.

Furthermore, she serves as the Vice President of the Jeonbuk Piano Duo Association, playing a vital role in promoting chamber music and advancing the local classical music community.

With her blend of international experience, pedagogical insight, and artistic excellence, Yang YunJeong remains a respected figure in both the performance and academic realms of classical music.
